Benefits:
- Firstly, your membership dues are not used to pay large administration salaries, as we have invested in the infrastructure that makes the Carpenters Fellowship relatively simple to run.
- We have also invested over the past 4 years to bring the NVQ to a point where we can now start providing a structured approach for those wishing to gain formal qualifications in Heavy Structural Timber Framing. This is a massive quality statement for the industry, and CF Members have a direct influence on the direction that this initiative is taking.
- Your own details can be added to the next online "Tradesmen's Directory " which is accessible by the general public from our web site. Your full details can also now be accessed through the pass-worded Members' Area on this site.
- You will receive the members' newsletter and other information mailings.
- On joining, you will receive the current issue of Mortice and Tenon, our 16 page colour journal for timber framers, which is published quarterly. You will receive all issues that appear while you are a member. Members can also purchase back issues at a discount.
- Members pay a reduced entrance fee for the annual Frame weekend.
- Training and education days organised by the Fellowship are offered free or at reduced cost to members.
