Rendezvous Events

The UK Carpenters’ Fellowship and the Timber Framers Guild of North America, as well as carpenters from across Europe collaborate from time to time on prestigious ‘Rendezvous’ projects such as the Abingdon School Boathouse and the Northmoor Trust Offices in Oxfordshire.

We always have a few of these potential projects bubbling along on the back burner.

It is not until the pre-planning turns a potential project into an actual one that we are able to advertise it officially - so watch this space as well as the CF Notice Board to keep abreast of developments and to discover the amazing opportunities that these oak framing rendezvous projects can provide.

Do you have a project that the Carpenters’ Fellowship can help you with?

The CF specialises in running such projects which have social, community or educational benefit.  The benefits of working with the CF for the client and organizers include assistance with: organizing and project managing the event, finding potential funding sources, planning proposal, timber frame design, 3D modelling and workshop drawings, locating appropriate instructors, equipment and expertise.

The Projects Committee

This is a sub committee of the CF Board and it includes company directors of "CF Projects" - a fully insured and registered business entity that is able to professionally project manage and organise all the oak framing aspects of a build and more, also including any training or community involvement.
