A few pictures from Seppe Geuens of his latest project in Bonheiden, Belgium. During august and september, I have replaced a barn from 1609 from one place near a farm where it normally would have been destroyed - to a place near a new farm 20 km further away. Two people, Theo Staes and Seppe Geuens carefully to out of parts the whole construction, with recuperation of all elements such as dirt, wooden and iron nails etc. and built it again with every peace at the same place, with the same nails and the same deformation of the posts and the roof as in situ. At this moment the thatcher is doing all the finishing work on the roof. In spring I will fill in the walls with straw clay. Greetings, Seppe
